The islands of the San Blas Archipelago are strung out along the Caribbean coast of Panama from the Golfo de San Blas nearly all the way to the Colombian border. The San Blas Islands of Panama are an archipelago comprising approximately 365 islands and cays, of which only 49 are inhabited.

Poás Volcano National Park obviously has a volcano but it’s also one of the easiest and most accessible spots to see cloud forest around San Jose. It has erupted 39 times since 1828.
Monteverde and Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserves are in Central Pacific. Monteverde’s appeal centers around its scenery and nature. Many ecosystems exist in the numerous reserves, such as Bajo del Tigre, the Santa Elena Reserve, the Bosque Eterno de los Niños and the world-famous Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve.
