Margarita Island is a Venezuelan island in the Caribbean Sea. It is located off the northeastern coast of the mainland and to the northeast of the country’s capital Caracas and is part of Nueva Esparta state. The island has more than 50 beaches which are scattered along 106 miles of coastline and is blessed with an average of over 320 days a year of sun and beautiful tropical beaches lined with palm trees.
